Date Time!

Before we had Ax, dates with my hubby looked mostly like dinner out, a little dressed up.  Or maybe an evening show, movie, or concert.  And big, elaborate trips to far away places.  Now, we still have dates, but it usually involves going out to breakfast, sometimes tackling an administrative task together that we’ve been putting off, definitely snuggles, chatting, a walk, possibly cooking.

When there is a show Mike wants to see that starts after 5pm I generally tell him to go without me.  I don’t like staying up past my bedtime.

When we brainstorm about where we could go to get away for a weekend or family trip we conclude home is the best place for us right now.  Other than Esalen, which is always worth rallying for.

So that’s how it is these days.  That’s the is-ness of it.  Today I’m happy with all of it.  Hopefully I’ll feel that way tomorrow too.  We shall see.

I’m gonna keep going.
